Bombard AX300 Rib 2.6mts (Same As Zodiac Zoom Sr)

This boat is the same as a RIB, but with a folding transom for ease of transporting and storing. These boats are far superior to inflatables, as the solid floor allows them to perform as a RIB, which is faster, safer and handles better. There are no patches, tears or holes, this is a very sturdy boat that will provide good and safe fun for all of the family for years to come. Boat is in excellent condition and has only been used a couple of times judged by the overall condition, although it could do with a light clean, as it has surface dust from being stored not in its carry case. The seams, especially the folding transom seam has no marks and this is the area that these boats are prone to damage, but this example has excellent seams as can be seen by the photos.

The transom shows that an outboard has only been attached to the boat a couple of times.The bottom of the RIMTEC plastic hull (harder than fibreglas) shows some minor marks from poor storage but is very sound and solid. The oars, seat and pump are all in good condition. The carry case is tatty, but still useful, these boats can fit on any car with a roof rack or in a family estate car, as the transom folds flat for easy storage and transporting. Will take 3adults and is rated to take an outboard up to 8hp, but I have a 10hp mercury 2stroke (lighter than a 8hp 4stroke) that would make this boat fly, also advertised on classifieds board.
