With Bonwitco 400FC Yamaha 25HP

I'm selling my Bonwitco 400 FC as I've upgraded to a Warrior 165. If it was just me fishing on my own, I'd have kept this cracking little boat as it's perfect for 1 or 2 people. I've been out in Swansea Bay many times in this, and had great fun. The sea it can handle is way in advance of what other boats in its class can cope with, and it's a great confidence-booster for those starting out. I have a 4hp Yamaha auxiliary that isn't included in the sale as its in use on my Warrior, but I would sell this by separate negotiation if required.
The Yamaha 25hp is in excellent condition and has been thoroughly serviced. It economical and will see the boat begin to plane from about 7kts and will take the speed up to 20kts without issue. The boat doesn't suffer from the dreaded waterlogged foam as many do, probably due to the fact it's been kept out of the water. I can lift the bow of the boat by myself when on the trailer, which is a good indication of how light it is. The trailer is in generally good shape; I replaced the bunks last year and fitted docking poles to help getting the boat on.
I towed the trailer back from Swansea without any problems and I wouldn't hesitate to deliver this boat on this trailer as I'm sure it will serve the new owner well for years to come. You are welcome to view the boat at my home on Herefordshire and ask any questions before bidding.
