Brand New 62' Narrowboat

62’ cruiser stern. Completed late 2016. Brand new, never sailed. A spacious boat with larger than normal doorways and 6' 4" head clearance. Shell fabrication.

Built by ABC boats of Lincolnshire. Paintwork, ballast, insulation, engine. By Sherwood Narrowboats. Internal fit out by: GASS Ltd. Engine. Barrus Shanks 40.

Deluxe engine control panel Starter battery- 90 Ah Leisure battery bank- 120 Ah x4 (AGM type.) Insulation type- Sprayfoam. 2 tone paintwork on body- Royal blue & Oxford blue with cream coach lines. Roof painted in lighter colour. Non slip paint work on roof and rear deck. Layout (reverse layout).

Gas lockers at Stern. Storage locker on bow deck. Layout from Stern to bow: 16’ Salloon, 12’ Galley, 8’ through bathroom, 11’ bedroom. Windows. 18.5” fully opening port holes (Single glazed). Port hole liners.

(Bedroom and saloon)- Solid oak hand made. Port hole liners. (Galley and bathroom)- Stainless steel hand fabricated. For easy cleaning in wet areas. Pigeon box above galley- with 4 x solid brass chromed mini port holes.

Side opening doors On port side of galley. Chrome mushroom vents with fly screens. Chrome plank & pole rack. Fenders fitted bow & stern. Button at stern.

Tipcat at Bow. Side fenders supplied. 3 x mooring ropes supplied. Inverter- Victron Multiplus 3Kw. Brushed stainless steel socket fronts.

One with USB point. Brushed stainless steel light switch fronts. Way switching on thru bathroom 12 volt sockets in Galley. 12 volt Tv point and co-ax. 12 volt lighting through out. Calorifier.

(Sited in Saloon cupboard.) 75 Litre Surejust twin coil. With thermostatic mixing valve. Fitted with potable water expansion vessel. Immersion heater. 1 Kw.

Heating system. Webasto in engine bay. Radiators to rooms. Chrome towel radiator in bathroom. Heatmiser (7 day) timer control adjacent to immersion heater switch.

Fresh water tank 350 litre. Plastic construction with welded seams located under front deck. Freshwater pump- Whale 2 bar. Shower waste pump- Whale Gulper. Saloon 16’.

Steps down from stern deck, with ribbed matting carpet. (Storage below steps). “L” shaped upholstered seating. With storage below. Converts to double bed (pull out on rollers).

Desmo sockets in floor for solid oak table top. (Stowed behind seating). Hardwood walnut plank flooring. Lining in Oak below gunwhales. Hardwood match board panelling fitted on the diagonal with white colour wash finish above gunwhales and on the ceiling.Finished with oak trim.

Galley 12’. Units- Solid oak hand made. Cupboards, drawers and wine rack. Cast brass drawer pulls & handles. Granite Worktops with breakfast bar and stools.

Undermounted stainless steel sink. Bristan chrome sink mixer tap. Fridge- LEC 12 volt (Black). (There is also a 230 volt socket fitted behind the fridge,so 12v or 230v fridges can be used). Oven- Thetford “Midi Prima” 12 volt (Black).

Hob- Millar LPG Gas on Glass. 2 x burner. (Black). Hardwood walnut flooring. Through Bathroom 8’. Shower tray- 900mm ‘Quadrant’ Mira ‘Flight’ low profile.

Wet wall panels. Triton thermostatic mixer shower. Bar type in chrome. Toilet- Thetford cassette type with ceramic bowl. 12 volt.

Handmade solid oak storage cupboards. Granite worktop. Ceramic 400mm basin. Bristan chrome mixer tap and chrome ‘clicker’ type waste. Space for washing machine.

Electric point and plumbing for waste and water inlet located under work top. (With thermostatic mixing valve- warm water inlet to washing machine). Chrome towel radiator. Wall light. 12 volt switched independently.

Flooring is grey cushion flooring (photo was taken before flooring laid so its not shown in the photos). Bedroom 11’. 2 x large wardrobes with cupboards above. Full King Size drop down bed. Whilst folded away- There is an upholstered bench seat with storage below.

Drops down to a full King Size bed at night (A standard uk King Size Mattress fits). Mattress is length ways with pillows at bow end. Low level storage. 2 x steps to bow doors fitted with ribbed matting carpet (storage below). Hardwood walnut plank flooring.
