Brigham Scow, Hornsea Mere One Design Sailing Dinghy

I am offering for sale my lovely Brigham Scow, sailed regularly on the Driffield Navigation/River Hull. Built around 1982 by local enthusiast in marine ply this boat is a stable, fast and well balanced craft.Restored by me in 2003 and totally repainted using Hempel marine finish.The sail is just over 200sqft and was purchased new in 2003. The rig is balanced lugsail, aluminium mast and spars and stainless rigging. The hull design is based on the "Lark Scow", an American design from around 1890 and adopted by the Humber Yawl club for racing on Hornsea Mere. The hull is intact and the deck has had minor repairs over the recent years.The trailer is suitable for road and occasional launching. I am selling this boat due to age and lack of club facilities, and I simply want the boat to go to a good home. Otherwise the bonfire awaits.
