‘Avon’ is listed on the National Historic Boats UK website as a range safety launch or patrol boat. Substantial renovation has been carried out over the years, and although more work is necessary to make her sea worthy, Avon could be the perfect liveaboard. All wooden structure repairs have been done to a high standard, and many new parts and electrical fittings and wiring (including new fuses and circuit board) have been fitted. The two new engines on board need connecting to props and the all-new wiring throughout. This is a perfect investment for an enthusiast with time on their hands looking for a passion project, and the thrill of returning a historic rare boat like this to its former glory.

A spacious sleeping cabin plus the main living area (which could also comfortably accommodate two bunks) mean that Avon has potential to be a perfect home on the water.
