Broom Gemini Classic Speed Boat

1972 BROOM GEMINI CLASSIC SPEED BOAT WITH OUTBOARD AND TRAILER Recently restored great little speed boat from the renowned and collectable manufacturer Broom boats of Brundall Norfolk who are well known for their boat design and half million point yachts. In original yellow gel coat with original black broom striping to side. Some age related scratches to the hull but this has to be expected for the age. Racing stripes to the deck with sun wasp name in gold. Age correct smith instruments which are not wired up as I use a boat app on my phone for speed, position etc which is alot more accurate but guages could be re commitioned if required.

Voltmeter is conneced to battery and reads correctly. Original compass to dash. Lockable glovebox with cup holders. Ski Mirror. New Nauticus Trim Tabs fitted last week which really inprove the handling and low speed getting up onto the plane.

They also improve fuel consumption. These boats are well known for their classic lines and great handling. A very light boat on the trailer so easily launched and retrieved from the slipway. Age correct Mercury Thunderbolt outboard which in its self is getting very rare in this condition has been fully serviced with new impeller fitted a couple of weeks ago. Runs like a little two stroke ouboard should instantly high reving when called for with easy starting either from the new leisure battery or from the pull start.

Pushes this boat well and can zip along at a good rate of notts if required or take it easy at 5mph for broads day boat cruising. Amtico caulked floor recently fitted along with marine carpet to the sides and storage area under the deck. Boat comes with anchor, rope, fenders & back board for the trailer. 8 gal fuel tank and two stroke oil all ready to go. Trailer could do with a re paint if picky but I havnt bothered as it does the job well and has plenty of years use left.

Has had new wheels, bearings and tires fitted so ready to go anywhere. Boat comes with rain cover for storage and fishing unbrella with holder between seats for keeping the rain or sun off when required. The only thing to mention is a 3 inch crack to the tinted wind shield but has been repaired and is not that noticable or new wind shields are available from Broom boats if you cant live with it. Can be delivered within the Norfolk area but please contact me before buying now to negotiate delivery. Note some of the pictures show a kicker plate for a smaller outboard. This has been removed as I thought it spoiled the look of the boat. I still have the plate and a matching small 4hp Mercury Thunderbolt outboard if needed but this would be negotiated seperately.
