'Hanna' 1982 29' Bruce Roberts Sailing boat, designed for long distance cruising, a very stable boat, designed to carry full sail up to force 7 conditions. LOA 29'8"LWL 24'4"Beam 9'10"Draft 4'3"Displacement 9630LbsBallast 4000LbsHeadroom 6'2" First of all this is a project boat with a very sound hull, she has been out of the water for some 5 years now, she has suffered some fresh water ingress due to tarps and covers being blown off over the last few winters. Windows removed ready for patterns to be made (I still have these and the surrounds etc.) Coach roof striped and re done needs top gel coat. Cockpit sole has some rotten fibreglass on the side supports and need re doing, overall the hull is very sound with no signs of osmosis. New tiller recently fitted.
Interior fittings has has fresh water damage and basically trashed, I still have most of the upholstery for patterns, but it is ready for a new design or restore the old interior, recent cooker. Engine is a little under powered a Nissan 14HP, not been started for a while. I had intended on fitting a Kabota 25HP which would fit easily without much conversion whilst the sole is repaired. Toilet removed and overhauled. Mast needs rewiring and new lights fitted ( I have some of these parts).
Boom has recently been overhauled with new ropes and pulleys. There are no sails with the boat. Last picture shows Hanna in her glory. Lots of new Items Spray dodgers, covers, electrics, fenders, fittings etc. In fact there are boxes of fittings and kit i haven't even looked at.
The boat is located on Exeter Quay, Charges are £26/per week on the hard (electric and water available) or once restored the same amount in the water, I can arrange for the contract to be transferred to the new owner if required. If not I have paid the fees up to the end of April and the boat must be removed by then, or charges will be down to the new owner. The boat was transported up from Cornwall 2 years ago for a very reasonable rate, I can pass you on the details of the local transport company which have their Hiab equipped Lorries to lift and transport if required. (See last but one picture). For more photos and information please feel free to contact me at sensible times on 0phone.
Sadly due to my job changing I am now working away a lot of the time, and I don't have the spare time anymore All in all this has potential to be a cracking boat, it is a great project some fibre glass repairs to the cockpit sole, a new interior, finish off the exterior cosmetics to your liking and some new sails. I have only seen one other similar 29' Bruce Roberts to Hanna for sale up in Scotland and that went for £16,000. Please note the auction for Hanna does NOT include the galvanized professional built custom boat cradle made by Jacobs and Sons.. This is for sale by separate negotiation. Terms strictly £250 deposit via paypal at auction end the balance cash on collection or cleared funds via BACS Please only bid if you are serious about buying there is a sensible reserve on her, I have excellent feedback over 20 years of buying and selling on e bay, viewing more than welcome in fact recommended.
