For sale is my Cruiser Boat "Alecai" No reserve. I paid £2000 for her with the engine I'm selling seperately. If you want a cruiser she is definitely a lovely boat. I just not had time. Please only bid if you want boat to avoid wasting people's time.
Relisted as previous winner "...changed mind after looking into boats and thought it would be too much work" .....there is some work to do, please read advert and I'm listing as a project boat. But she is a lovely boat and if you have a bit of time you can get her sorted pretty easily. She is 20ft long and approx 7ft wideShe consists of a deck at the rear, you go through the door and step down into main Cabin and then in the bow of boat there is seating that can be converted into a sleeping area. There are no cushions as had removed them and was meant to replace them. When you get new cushions you can lie in bed looking up at the Stars through the ceiling hatch it's lovely.
She is a sat on the drive and needs to be in the water and used. She was made in 1987 and is constructed from fibreglass but looks like a Wooden Boat. The construction of the Hull seems really solid. The roof and deck of boat is constructed of wood and part coated in fibre glass. Some bits on the gunnels have had water get in over the years and could be cut out and replaced.
But perfectly functional.... you can walk on them with no problems. The hatches on the deck also leaked so apart from the main one (that was fine) I have sealed them up. The rear of the deck is open. The tarp I had on was poor. This needs looking at as water can get in.
I replaced the floor as water had previously got in from the roof and the open deck. (Spent £400 doing this.) I sorted the roof but the back really needs a cratch or cover sorting. I've made an access point in the floor so any water that gets in can be pumped out the bilge. (No pump though) She was permanently afloat when I bought her and after a season I took her out the water and she's been sat on the drive ever since. The boat needs some TLC and does need attention, you just need to finish her off and she should make someone a lovely and much admired Cruiser.
I just not had time. The Boat Safety Certificate expires July 4th 2017. There is currently no Gas or Electrics as all taken out to refit boat, there is a fire blanket and extinguisher, so it should not be difficult to get new certificate. It has no engine, but fitting on rear for an outboard. I've strengthened it with stainless steel.
The boat is on a trailer which was built with the boat. I would not guarantee it and I would not take her a long distance. I'm sure she is fine but I would get her back on the water locally. When I took her out at Redhill Marina the winch cable snapped. Probably through my inexperience with towing boats though.
You would benefit from using some heavy duty ratchet straps too. The trailer appears to have been kept outside. The tyres are not great but the boats been on it for over a year now and nothing has happened. Also you probably need someone to help you get it off the drive....it took 3 of us getting it on. Boat is sold as seen and with no guarantees.
CASH on collection please. Please only bid to buy. You are welcome to view boat before you bid, just email me to arrange. Thanks.
