Canal Cruiser Boat *project

*Project Canal Cruiser | Burland 27ft I bought this boat a couple of years ago as an mostly an empty shell, it has been stripped out and the floor lowered the wood ceiling panelling removed to give the max head room possible. Probably now around 5'9". I have not had much chance to work on the boat for some time now and it still requires alot of work. It does have. 150w Solar Panel and PPT controller4 x 110Ah batteries although its likely at least one of these need replacing all a couple of years old.A 35hp (electric start outboard fitted) Obviously over powered for the canal but was what come up when I was looking to replace a 5hp that barley moved it.4000W pure sine wave invertor.8000 Kw Diesel heater (amazing)Sit down shower with pump out box for drainage, and shower base.

(used 12v camping shower head) Auto Bilge pump(See pictures) The rear door is removable for easy access when cruising. Has loud speaker/ horn but needs rewiring currently. A lot of things need rewiring in the boat where i have set them up to be usable but not wired in permanently. Same with the headlight. There are Velcro insulted black out curtains inside, all could do with a bit of a clean and possible some cushions replacing due to be left in the boat over the last year.

The cratch cover needs repairing, new zips at least. Boat safety cert until 04/22 Requires a fair bit of cosmetic work outside. I have replaced the top vents and sealed the windows but the outside would benefit from some TLC.It does some with some bank anchors, ropes, lock winch and shore line power cables and a small generator. I have used and stayed on the boat in its condition many times. Taken my children out and had some great times on it.

But it really is a project and needs to go to someone who has some time to put into it. It is currently on a private mooring, that may and will likely be available subject to separate negotiation.
