Located at Nottingham with the possibility of retaining the mooring by negotiation and subject to status and references, there are several marinas in the local area and bank side moorings. Harriet has been restored over the past 12 months and makes an ideal boat for great weekends or weeks away, or as a home base for someone to live on possibly while working away or for a student.Harriet is for sale as we have purchased a Narrow boat project. There is enough room to sit in the cockpit and enjoy a drink and something to eat at night and plenty room for 4 people to travel seated comfortably in the sunshine. Inside the main Cabin there are 2 single berths which act as couches during the day ( plenty seating for 4 possibly more ) and can be turned into a big comfy king size bed at night or used as 2 singles with a dining table in the middle.
Your TV can easily be fitted to the bracket provided and wired straight to the TV Ariel We have had perfect signal on all free view channels. To the rear of the cabin there are 2 raised areas which can form 2 single berths I would say suitable for young children only, these berths allow the child to sit up to get out but run under the cockpit floor. My friends 8 year old slept in one for 3 nights with no problem at all. There is an area to the rear of the entrance door which we have used to house a 240 volt table top fridge and microwave and hot plate as shown in the photos. Masses of storage area under the cockpit and under the door area.
There is a compartment which can house the toilet and would have room for a fitted shower if required. Next to this room is a half height wardrobe unit. I have only ever used the camping shower as we are moored in a marina with a shower block and almost all locks have showering facility's. In the summer I lived on the boat permanently for 6 months and had no issue at all, you need to be organised and tidy but its totally possible for 1 person to be very comfortable. In winter a small oil filled radiator keeps the boat pleasantly warm
