Four berth boat built by Bristol Marine Company in 1978 with inboard Invader 2ltr diesel engine. Could sleep two adults and two young children or very comfortably sleeps two adults. There's seating for 5/6 people on the rear deck. 22ft long and approximately 9ft wide. See photos for full condition of boat and canopy.
Currently moored on the Leeds and Liverpool canal near Blackburn/Chorley. The mooring is approximately 4 days cruising from both Skipton and Liverpool. The mooring is not included with the listing but may be available by negotiation with the Canal & River Trust. Perkins 2ltr inboard diesel engine was serviced and a new impeller was installed last summer. Engine drive replaced with reconditioned Enfield Z drive.
Boat has running water to the sink (you need to refill at water points), oven/grill and hob, small dining table (needs fixing to the floor), a toilet, one fire extinguisher, two life jackets and charging points for mobile phones. The canopy is in need of repair/replacement, the window plastic has gone brittle causing it to break. Boat is sea worthy (may require testing/certification??) and as such has an anchor and a depth/fish shoal finder so would be great for sea fishing. BSS Safety certificate valid until 15th August 2018. We bought the boat in York and had a fantastic time cruising her home over summer a couple of years ago but since then have rarely used her due to work commitments hence a reluctant sale.
Great little boat for the first timer, easy to handle, not too complex to maintain. Viewing before bidding available, please send a message. Originally listed last year but re-listed due to time waster who decided the boat was too far away from where he lived. Please do not bid unless you can either transport the boat by road or cruise her to your chosen mooring. We can help with advice on cruising the boat home if required.
