Castoldi Jet Tender 18 - Italian Luxury Jet Rib - £60k New - Yanmar Engine

Stunning luxury Italian jet rib for sale.   They're approximately £60k new.   It came off a Superyacht called Ludynosa.g.   The coloured fibreglass and grey tubes make it look really classy, especially when its on the water.   I recommend viewing their website for more information and to view the latest model.

  http://www.castoldijet.it/en/jettenders_en/4919s_en.html  It's a beautiful boat with lots of potential.   I've owned it since last September and had numerous things done to it.   I bought it as a project.   It had suffered from some standing water around some of the cabling having been sat uncovered in a boat yard.   It was taken as a part exchange by the tender manufacturer on the South Coast that supply a new boat to the Superyacht.

  Before that it was used on the Ludynosa.g in the Mediterranean.   Some of the work that has been carried out:• Cleaned hull, fibreglass and tubes.• Cleaned fuel tank.• Replaced both batteries.• New battery switch, cables and various electrical components.• Reconditioned starter motor.• Cleaned and waterproofed the cover. The engine is great once it is running.   The Yanmar inboard diesel engine has around 135hp.   It is difficult to start initially but after it has been running it is then easy to start.

  Some white smoke to begin with but that clears after a while and it runs smoothly (I have plenty of videos of it running).   The work I would have carried on with to get it to mint condition:• Replace cable from direction control to hydraulics that controls the bucket on the jet.• Mend the crack in the flange at the bow.• Fix ignition switch.• Replace fan belt as its showing signs of wear.• I'd also check the steering cable and the steering wheel is on a hydraulic ram that would need reconnecting. I've never sailed the boat and could not arrange a test drive because although the engine runs it still needs a cable connecting the direction control (Forward/Reverse) to the bucket on the jet.   I'd be more than happy to arrange viewings and I can organise more pictures and videos. Reason for sale Unfortunately I have a few too many projects on the go with a house project and a Land Rover defender 110 project too.

  This one regrettably has to go to a good home to help the bank balance for the other projects.   I'm selling the boat without the trailer.   The boat is on Lake Windermere.   Delivery can be arranged on its existing trailer but I am keeping the trailer for my brother.
