Sailing / Motor Boat Catalac 9M Catamaran. 'AKU AKU' I am going to be incredibly sad to see AKU go, I have so many great memories aboard, but my life circumstances have changed and it is now time for someone else to enjoy her. Structurally good. The hull and deck cosmetically fair. Internally is in need of a freshen up but still very usable.

Could be a live aboard.One large double and one single cabin forward, plus one more single. Saloon converts to give extra double. Good heads and galley. Mainsail with reefing - Genoa recently torn. Mast can be stepped easily without crane making this boat accessible to canals and rivers.

Ruggerini 14 HP (RW/CV9.3/12,6) inboard. 8HP Honda 4 stroke outboard engine mounted as an auxilery with controls at the helm position and a separate fuel tank.Extremely well equiped including; Sestrel Grid Compass, Depth Sounder, Autohelm 3000 Autopilot, Garmin GPS, JRC 1000 Radar, PRO Navtex, YEOMAN Chart Plotter.Marineer s/s Gas cooker with 4 rings and oven/grill (In need of service). Top loading fridge. Hot and cold water system. Freshwater capacity 40 gallon in 2 s/s tanks.

Fenders and warps. Hulls expoxied to waterline.Tender on Davits with electric engine and battery. A full insurance survey was carried out in May 2018 and the boat is valued for insurance at £16,500. This Catalac was originally owned by author Jim Andrews who wrote about his voyages aboard Aku-Aku and has circumnavigated the globe. Currently moored on tidal pontoon in boat yard.
