Chinook Sea Fury 6.2 Rib

This listing is for a 6.2m Chinook Sea Fury RIB with 135 Mariner outboard (Pre-optimax).It is being sold on behalf of Gwynedd Sub-Aqua Club - we purchased it new from Chinook in March 1995 and it has served us well ever since. It is a very sea-worthy boat with excellent load-carrying capacity and has taken us on many adventures over the years.As you can see from the pictures it there is wear on the tubes from the cover rubbing against them - but it seems to be limited to the Hypalon holding the rope grab-handles. The tubes held air last season but the port tube does appear to be going down slowly over a matter of a few days now - may just be the valve leaking. The hull appears ok but I would strongly suggest viewing before placing a bid.The RIB comes with a centre console with hydraulic steering and a large (I seem to recall 90L) stainless steel tank, fuel guage, tacho and trim guage. There is an anchor and warp, Lowrance HDS GPS / Sonar unit (this was dropped at the end of last season - I have repaired it and it is working but I cannot guarantee it is waterproof - you may wish to apply tape / sealant to the case join).

There is a large bottle rack with various straps, a Stainless Steel "A" frame with 2 waterproof container holders, Nav lights and a Radar reflecter. The engine is a 135hp unit which ran well last year and was winterised before being put in storage for the winter - it can be seen running but will need servicing before use. There is a 4hp auxiliary engine which has had minimal use.The trailer is braked but will need servicing before towing any distance - if you wish to collect from a long way away you may be better bringing a car trailer! I would strongly suggest viewing before placing any bid - the boat in on Anglesey, North Wales - remember you are bidding to buy not haggle please!
