Clamboat (Ezyboat) - Folding Boat With Integrated Wheels

This is a 14ft Clamboat (Ezyboat) that has several unique features. 1. She can take an outboard up to 10 horsepower2. She can sail - theres a mast, rigging, dagger board, rudder and sails3. She can row - oarlocks are included In addition the towing wheels are built in to the hull, meaning there is no trailer to park up when you launch. She can be folded in half for towing / storage.

The tow bar is detachable for when you are on the water. I've had her about 9 years. She was built in about 2002. The Good: She's made of fibre glass - She floats and sails fineShe tows really easily.Its simple to attach an outboard and off you go The Bad: She's 17 years old and is a little weathered (see photos)The Wheels are meant to fold up into the hull, but I never managed to make that happen. I suspect the mechanism is seized.

She goes on the water just fine with the wheels down, although I cant tell how much effect the extra drag has. She goes through the water fine.The clam folding mechanism is quite stiff and heavy. Its a two person job really. I'm sure when she was new it would have been silky, but now it takes a bit of effort to unfold and clip into place. That said it works fine - just needs some strength.She can be towed clammed up or open.

Its just about the length really. I'm selling mainly because shes quite heavy and stiff to be moved around, and I've been diagnosed with Sciatica - not a good combination. I'm sure the for someone who enjoys pottering and fixing and freeing up this would make a great project. And of course she could go in the water as is. She wont sink!!
