A Classic 1962 Curtis & Pape 40ft Cutter Rigged Sloop.  Ocean Going Live Aboard

Built and designed by Curtis and Pape, and the Pape Bros, in their Looe shipyard in Cornwall. Frank Curtis renowned shipwright and Alan Pape renowned designer apprenticed under "Jack" Laurent Giles. Llandoger Trow, commissioned in 1962 by the Boat Fittings Company Bristol, and registered with Lloyds in 1963. A unique name with only one other 'Llandoger Trow' being the famous 1600's Inn, Llandoger Trow also in Bristol. Llandoger Trow A beautifully designed yacht with stunning lines a carvel planked, 40ft cutter rigged sloop. Traditionally made with red pine on English oak beams with copper fastening and mahogany coaming throughout. Long keeled for a more forgiving sail, ideal for novice or experienced sailor alike. 2018. Hull re-caulked using traditional methods, oakum and red lead filler, anti-fouled using a Jotsun 90. 3 layer system.

Keel and all keel bolts checked and found fully serviceable, also new adinoids fitted. New rudder 2015. Propshaft seals and grease pack box serviced. Engine 4.236 Perkins marine diesel, overhauled and serviced 2018. Runs and sounds beautiful.

New 2 leasure 250ah battemries and 2 100ah engine batteries. Charged with a new 500watt wind turbine, mounted on a stainless rigging. 350ltr diesel tank. Engine room sprinkler system fire extinguisher. New Bilge pump and security switch.

Jabsco raw water pump with new impeller fitted plus spares. Sails. Brand new main sail and a Brand new genoa, plus 3 older sails, jib, storm + 1 other. Brand new Halyards, Sheets and other lines. Custom made aluminium mast, newly seviced, new windex, VHF ariel and tri colour nav lights. Rigging. All rigging replaced in 2015 including stainless steel shroud plates.

Replaced all bottle jacks in rigging. Replaced all Running rigging 2018. New Lafrans Windlass, a Cayman 88, 1000 watt 12 volt, remote controled CQR 35kg anchor 200 metres 8mm chain and a 35kg fisherman's anchor. Flexi teak non slip, easily maintained rubber decking 2015. Galley. Hot and cold running water, 4 cupboards storage utensil drawers,built-in microwave oven, a Smev gimbled double hob with conventional sized oven and grill, Melrose air ventilation system, built in fridge freezer lrg capasity.

Ample storage throughout. Nav station, Half Chart sized navigation desk, Garmin GPS tracking device, inside electronic control panel, am/fm stereo player, usb points, navionics on Sony 10 tablet, led lighting chart storage, charts etc, nav aids and a sextant, binoculars. Saloon Round table, horseshoe seating with storage behind and under, LED lighting, ships clock and barometer, hot air heating. With under sole water tanks 2 x 300ltr. Head. Very spacious.

Sink with hot n cold running water, jabsco sea flush toilet, with cupboard storage. Opposite to 3 deep drawers and a tall wet coat wardrobe. Teak sole, roof lined with white faux vinyl, inside varnished oak beams. Fwd cabin. Sails storage, fender rack, double size bed, 2 lockers, LED lighting, fwd anchor chain box, deck hatch.

Aft cabin, Double bed with 6 inch memory foam mattress, under bed storage, 2 side lockers, LED lighting, usb sockets, TV, mirror. Centre Cockpit, Oak beamed with varnished mahogany combings, traditional spoked ships wheel, hydraulic stearing, Raymarine auto-pilot. Raymarine wind, depth and speed instruments, engine control panel, ships compass, VHF DIS DEC RADIO transmitter, auto-pilot compass GPS. Sea world twin air horns, gas bottle locker, fire extinguishers, storage, ample seating area. Extra items, Flares pack, Horseshoe life belt marker buoy.
