1963 Mustang wooden speedboat 55hp Evinrude outboard Road trailer Fuel tank Battery For sale is my 1963 Mustang designed by the Colin Mudie for the 1963 edition of yachting world. I have the original magazine and numerous books on the history of the boat She was designed for speed and space, comfortably carrying 2 up front and ample space in the back for sunbathing and we have bespoke cushions for the sunbathing area. Trailer is in good condition and was serviced a year ago. Woodwork is good with a few minor bits needing to be done to make it 100% but most importantly she's,completely watertight. The engine was reconditioned a few years,ago but needs a service, starts, pumps and runs fine but I think the carbs need a clean as it's lost some of its top speed...which on a light boat like this extremely fun.I restored her and believe she's the last survivor. She's a pure British thoroughbred and simply stunning and is a real head turner.She would benefit of a sand down and a professional paint job and the small last bits of work on the rear lockers but they are purely cosmetic.The engine can be seen running and she comes,with a cover for storage.Only selling as I've brought another bigger boat.She's located in storage in chichester and will be able to be collected from the 20th as I'm away for a few days.Please message me on phone
