Fandango of Kilifi (Originally named Rose Fleur) is a fine steel fin keeled ‘Camper & Nicholson’ classic sailing yacht, built in 1963 by ‘De Vries Lentsch Scheeps Werf’. This was a labor of love for many years with the hull having been expertly replated by Dutch Steel Ship and Boat Building Specialists Nautical Shipping, who operated at Dartside Quay for over 20 years.
The frames and bulkheads have been replaced and an exciting new superstructure created. Attention is needed to the After-Deck however as it plated in thinner steel than the rest of the deck and became water logged following the drains being blocking (it may only need blasting) and she does need a stern tube. There is no mast or rigging included, there is an old engine on board as well as a steering system but I would recommend treating this as a very good condition Steel Hull only (the hard part has been done!). Our plans have changed and we now live abroad, so we therefore cannot not be physically available on site to show you around but are happy to answer any questions online or by phone: We speak English, Dutch and German. Fandango is currently in dry storage at Dartside Quay in Galmpton Creek, Devon.
She is not subject to any mortgages, debts or charges. The cost of storage at Dartside Quay is £390 - £400 per month depending on how many days are in the month.
