Classic Speed Boat

Normal 0 false false false EN-GB JA X-NONE Build from plans from Glen L, this is a 1957 classic speed boat design. It is great to handle and rides well. All mahogany and marine ply certified (Robbins timber) and covered with fibreglass and Blakes 2 pack paint. She seats 5 comfortably and is used only on the Thames. The engine still needs breaking in as its only been on the water for 10 hours max.

It starts first go every time, and is a 2 stroke TDI 90hp Tohatsu. It has had its first service. The boat come with, emergency paddles, 5 life jackets, anchor, mooring ropes and remote fob (for locker lights, internal seat lights and battery compartment). Other equipment includes, bilge pumps x 2 (auto and manual switching), a built in battery charger (110v but you can get a transformer from Screwfix if you want to keep it topped up when not in use), a depth sounder with alarm, 2 x fire extinguishers, classic instruments, horn, trailer with numberplate board and lights, boat cover, cd player/radio/usb with remote control, 4 way speaker system with power amp, nav lights, dash lights, seating lights, and a dual battery system. The starting priced is low as I am emigrating to Australia and it's a nightmare to get a wooden boat into the country.

This will be a real bargain for the new owner. Inspection recommended, and the engine can be seen running. It has a current certificate from the "Boat Safety Scheme", plus a survey report from Cetec Marine for insurance purposes.
