Classic Speedboat

For sale classic wooden speedboat. Its previous owner thought it was a Broom from the 1960s but that isn’t verified.I have lovingly restored this boat with a nod to Carlo Riva including adding:New deckOutboardSteering controlsElectrics including Speed Over Ground Speedometer and fuel gauge as well as USB charger! 25L fuel tankWindowsSeats and upholsteryFibreglass reinforcing of hull and painting. Outboard is Mercury 20Hp with electric start, tilt and trim. Starts and runs beautifully.
Extras provided:Fitted Cover2 Lifejackets (2 extra on negotiation)Light-board (slightly chipped but working)Spare material for reupholsteringTrailer Lock Trailer:New wheels and bearings and rollers. Handling:Gets onto the plane very quickly at about 8 knots and will do around 25 knots comfortably. She handles beautifully and corners in a nice tight turning circle - can turn on an axis about 6 foot diameter and is incredibly nimble with great acceleration and is great fun to play with. She will bring a stupid grin to your face! Other Info:She tends to attract attention and questions from admirers so get used to it.
Better suited to inland waters. She will take 3 adults or two adults and two kids. She was designed to tow a skier but I confess I have never tried. Happy to throw in a used wakeboard given to me but I can't vouch for its quality or condition! Numbering is registration at Loch Lomond.
Upholstery shows some wear as you might expect for its age but happy to provide material for reupholstery.Collection in person only from Glasgow. Price is for purchase not inspection.
