Colvic Falcon 17ft Gunter Rig Sailing Cruser

This boat is unique. Colvic Falcon. 17foot drop keel sailing cruiser especially suited for single handed sailing on the broads because the Gunter rig is easily lowered to get under bridges. Having said that, it is still a sturdy, very seaworthy craft amply suited for coastal waters. It has sitting head room and bags of storage space.
Roller furling headsail and main make sail stowage easy. For tidal work where there is a strong current it has a 5HP two stroke Mercury outboard with a 12V charging coil. I thought about getting a four stroke outboard but decided against because they are much heavier and because I remove it and store it inside the boat I decided against. For inland waterways I have a 55lb 12V electric outboard, this is the largest 12V outboard available, powered by two 100AmH sealed lead acid batteries with on board mains charger and solar panel for off grid charging. There is a trailer available which hydraulic rams to lower it for easy launching but it needs a bit of attention.
I am willing to deliver the boat but the buyer will have to pay for lifting out and fuel costs including return travel. The mooring at Acle Norfolk has good access with electricity, water and is transferable but NOT included in the price. It is separate and payable to the owner of the mooring. Other features are VHF marine radio, FM radio with stereo speakers and CD/ MP3/ micro SD player, Navico Tiller Pilot, Echo sounder (old but reliable), log, internal LED lighting, external 12V plugs for Spotlight/Navigation lights, cooling fan, porta potti and new berth cushions. In order to save space cooking and washing facilities are by portable means.
I thought a kitchen sink in a boat this small was ridiculous so I removed it when I rebuilt the boat freeing up much more storage space. It was originally a four berth so I also got rid of the two rear quarter berths for the same reason, I can now store both outboards on board and there is even enough space for a small inflatable (deflated of course). I added extra bulkheads, a proper carpeted floor. The hull has received three coats of epoxy paint for osmosis protection. The drop keel was sand blasted and galvanized.Payment by bank transfer only.
