This loom connects to the also new Icom VHF radio with AIS and GMDSS so the plotter has automatic AIS targets on its larger screen.
An alarm can be turned on or off for targets that are on collision course ect or within set vicinity from your vessel. All new VHF cable including high gain antenna .New high grade fish finder and depth sounder transducer fitted again works through the chart plotter seemlessly .Full uk detailed chart supplied along with extended Raymarine warranty. Electronic costs were £2000 in May this year.Fitted also an auto helm to tiller. Tiller extension. Fenders, warps and springs.Main anchor is a claw along with a fisherman’s . Anchor octo plait and galvanised chain which goes through the deck via bronze hause pipe into the chin locker below deck.
This needs fitting and will try to do.At moment then anchor warp and chain fits inside a bespoke deck mounted tray.Four single berths in two cabins fitted with lee cloths .Plenty of storage space below beds and under the stairway/ steps. Also in the cockpit which is very spacious. There’s a Wardrobe ,folding table, sink, two ring gas cooker with grill and full gas bottle. Water container plus internal inflatable water container fillable from outside. Has part deck Stantions fitted which can be removed or added to. Retractable bow sprit so cheaper mooring fees.
Jib is fitted with a brand new Whickam Martins bronze furler. The stay sail which is the larger version is fitted onto a Furlex furler with foil mounted to stem head so it doesn’t need altering when bowsprit is retracted . Main sail is now a higher peak version but the original mainsail supplied and the topsail is still present and could be used with original main sail. It has the higher standard main mast so doesn’t need a jack yard to fly the top sail. Just hoist it up on the halliard .New running rigging with special ball bearing blocks to aid single handed none use of winches to hoist and lower the main sail.
There are four bronze winches fitted which could do with being removed. It has a new Double Spinlock cleat for both uphaul and peak sheets. Really easy to alter their tension. Can now be very easily sailed single handed.New high delivery hand bilge pump on 1 1/2” boreNew Houdini Deck/ cabin escape hatchHas two batteries fitted.Full navigation lights.Deck light.Radar reflector hoisted on flag halliard.Chart table folds down over the main sink. Plenty of electric lights and shore power cable via RCD switches. This is new still boxed.
There is no rot or water leaks inside. The deck does require painting. This is not critPaint is supplied. All sails in very good condition with no patches and they don’t need any stitching repairs .The galavanised road trailer has new brakes and wheel bearings and has only been used since to launch it once . A winch is fitted and lighting board. There is no rust to any of the chassis or axles. It’s obviuosly not been used much. The boat was unused for several years prior to my purchase as it’s then owner had suffered 8 strokes within a short period and was devastated to sell it.
As I am.Every time I seem to go in it other boat owners say how well it looks. Hardly surprising when most other boats roll off production lines and have no soul.Trailer rated for 3 .5 tons so well within legal limits. Good tyres with a spare wheel / tyre. The boat can dry out and if you see the last picture ,it was dried out and didn’t heel over very far as there are two small bilge plates that support it .Only needs 2’5” to float and the depth sounder reads available water underneath the hull so you don’t have to worry about what you have depth wise . I haven’t run aground since owning it except deliberately . When cutting corners ect I just left the centre board down which catches and if not hauled up via the rope that extends into the cockpit it will just stop the boat at around 5’ true water depth .
So at 3 ‘ below the keel on the depth sounder you know you are about to catch bottom. Pull up centre board as it’s a swinging one and off you go again. Makes life easy . It can also sail with it up but does suffer a little trying to go to windward with the plate up. The long keel helps track it.
Ideal when going down wind and wanting an extra knot of speed.I have an unused boom tent that goes over the whole cockpit again suppliedThere is also an as new Spray hood and a smaller boom tent for overnighting . There is a used Wallas Diesel heater that needs a service before fitting. These cost over £1500 new. As they are very quite running without the Diesel roar of an erbespatcher heater. Seems they are drip feed and only have a small fan to distribute the warm air.My health has deteriorated only reason for selling .Cash on collection.Boat is in a pontoon mooring at Titchmarsh Marina and can be viewed sea trialed anytime to suit. Can be removed anytime as advertised elsewhere .I do have a recent survey report which can be viewed by potential purchaser with pleasure.
