SPRING TIDE Bruce Roberts, Waverunner 34’6”, 10.5m A Sea going and European inland waterways cruiser. Built (in Norfolk) Dutch, style, with a single screw, Ford 127hp diesel engine, extremely well maintained, semi-displacement steel motor cruiser; constructed with hard chine having flattish aft section, raked stem, transom stern and a long keel that extends in the form of a skeg that offers rudder support and propeller protection. Built to a high specification in c1995 she is a superb sea going and inland European waterways cruiser. She has cruised the River Thames, Norfolk Broads and east coast of England as well as Netherlands, Belgian, German, Luxembourg and French inland waterways with comfort and ease. She is very stable and economic.
She has very wide side decks, with safety line points, making walking along at sea very safe. She is suitable as a live aboard as the current owners already do that is in the summer for several months. The boat sleeps up to 6 (the current owners have had 9 sleep on board which included a 1 and 3 year old making it possible). She has a separate cabin with double berth and ensuite shower (with folding Perspex door) in the stern, with a stainless steel escape hatch ladder. There is a built in wardrobe and plenty of locker storage with large shelf above, also a small cupboard currently used as a shoe cupboard.
There is storage space under the seat and the bed for non essential equipment and 1 electrical socket at the bedside, which can be increased with a 4 socket extension bar as required. The main saloon is large and spacious, with access to the deck on the starboard side, houses the interior steering position with full instrumentation. The saloon is bright, with windows and curtains all round. There is a long upholstered bench seating on the port side, which can be used for sleeping with plenty of storage underneath and opposite there are 3 built in cupboards with plenty of storage and a glass cabinet above and 4 electrical sockets bar. There are 2 matching upholstered stools.
There is a table that can be removed making the saloon very versatile when having guests or can put a second table up if you have lots of guests (like the time when the current owners had 9 on board). Spring Tide being versatile can adjust very easily. The galley has a spirit stove which is extremely safe to use, 3 way fridge (mains/gas/battery) and sink with hot and cold water plus plenty of storage underneath and 4 drawers.. Opposite is the chart table with plumbed in washing machine underneath, microwave and gas oven with storage cupboard underneath and 4 electrical sockets. There is also an escape stainless steel ladder stored there for use with escape hatch. The forepeak is very versatile for accommodation; it can be a dinette with table adjustable to 2 positions, twin single beds or a double berth using the infill There are full length curtains to make accommodation private when guests are on board – one either side of the saloon and another at the forepeak making all areas private.
Under the fore peak there is plenty of storage; it can accommodate folding bikes, BBQ etc. Outside on the upper deck is a second steering position with good visibility and 2 wooden storage boxes housing spare lines and anchor in one and additional equipment in the other, both with removable cushions. 2 folding chairs and white plastic table stored on the side rails. Spring Tide is left ready to step on to and sail/cruise. All our personal belongings have been removed , leaving you with a clean canvas for your set up.
