Dateline Bikini Speedboat 16FT Boat Only Project

Dateline Bikini speedboat 16ft originally fitted with a Mercruiser inboard. BOAT ONLY NO TRAILER NO ENGINE.Original gelcoat, in caramel and cream. Absolutely the right colours for a boat of this vintage. Condition of the gelcoat on the deck and the hull is remarkably good. These boats have been used as family runabouts, speedboats, water ski boats, or just take it out for a gentle cruise on the river with granny on board.

So use it for what you want! Whatever you decide on, it will give you loads of performance and reliability. The boat is complete, except for the engine and "Z" drive. But once a new engine and rive unit are fittedit can go straight into the water tomorrow.The hull is sound and in good condition and is all original gelcoat. A little bit of a polish and it will really buff up well.The interior is tatty and tired and needs to be re-trimmed.

The front bucket seats are in tired condition, but will certainly do as templates, and in the stern, the rear bench seat, is very tired and is really only usable as a template. What you get with the boat. Original Bikini hullsteering system2 original bucket seats ( need re-trimming) All instruments in photo's still fitted.Front fuel tank built in under the front deck, with deck filler.3 part rear engine cover to make servicing an inboard engine easy.Windscreen is fitted, but it is split, however its still usable as a template.Original seats and fittings include.Twin steps on either side of the stern, with original teak inlays. Please note, "Z" drive unit in one of the photo's has been removed from the boat. Good seaworthy shape, with plenty of flare in the bows to make this a good dry sea boat.
