Dawncraft Wroxham Ex Broads Cruiser Day Boat

Meet Chi, a lovely little old lady in need of much tlc. Shes a retired broads cabin cruiser, oozing character and the perfect size for pootling around basically anywhere. She’s currently moored on the river Hull at Tickton but the mooring isn’t transferable so you would have to either move her or speak to Hull Bridge boat club about getting a mooring there. I have no facilities to transport her so successful bidder would have to have the means to move her to her new home, sorry. Technical stuff.
This is limited as I’m not very technical.. she is Grp, she is 26 Foot in length and 6 foot wide (ish) .. Draught.. I’m not that naughtical either but I was reliably informed that she has a nice shallow hull, perfect for low tides or small canals and a low air draft too so bridges no problem either! That said, I think head height in main cabin is around 5ft 10 too so she can’t be that small! She’s a lovely little boat, very spacious… I think she fundamentally has pretty much everything you would need for a perfect little cruise with a few minor problems, the main one is I don’t actually know if any of her things actually work (hense the 99p start). I don’t wanna lie or con anyone so in all honesty… I have no idea what works and what doesn’t.. I never tried the 24volts or the gas heater etc. I know the bilge pump and lights worked when the battery had charge but now the battery is flat….
Its all there… gas, 12 volt and 24 volt electric sockets, lighting, running water, toilet, sink, microwave, 3 ring hob, heater etc. You can see everything in pics, but you would really need to know what you were doing to get her back to her prime! She’s very shabby chic and will needs lots and lots of tlc to bring her back to her prime … I saw her potential but sadly lacked the time, finances and expertees if I’m honest! Oh, and the other thing she is lacking… a motor… she has a cool little space for an ‘inboard outboard’ under the back seat and the wiring for gears and steering etc are all there but no actual motor. Bad bits aside though, I’ve still whiled away many an evening just moored up on the riverbank where she is, bobbing about and watching the wildlife (and the horses )… its an awesome spot and a cozy lite sun trap just as she is… I may not have manage to give her the Tlc she deserved but she certainly lived uo to her name and helped me find my own little slice of inner peace on many occasions😍 Cash on collection please so you can check you’re happy before you take her away.
