The fantastic sounding engine was zero-timed by my late uncle, a retired Lister engineer, using original new-old-stock parts sourced from around the world Crowther propeller with weed cutter Hull - new bottom, footings, swim, stern, decks and cabin (no overplating), all work carried out by Graham Pearce of Warwickshire Fly Boat Company. All new woodwork by 'Reg', also at WFBC, in light ash, planked roof (no MDF!), three Houdini hatches and portholes make for a light and airy feel throughout Traditional boatman's cabin with 'scumbling', 'roses and castles' and other period LMS features Heating and Equipment - Hot water by calorifier or shore power, radiators are diesel-fired by Erberspacher in engine room, coal-fired range in the back cabin and Kuranda 'Old Dutch' oil-fired heater in the saloon Sterling inverter servicing battery bank (x5) New BSC For sale with a very heavy heart - this is a true enthusiasts boat, restored to a very high standard. Plenty of vintage charm (Historic Narrowboat Club member), but will all the mod-cons for the 21st century I have over £125,000 and 5 years of my life invested in Dehli, hence the very reluctant sale at £75000.
