Dell Dory Eurosport 15ft Fishing Boat

Fantastic family, fishing, fun boat Hello everyone and welcome to my auction. I am very reluctantly selling my much beloved and utterly delightful 15ft Eurosport Dell Quay Dory with a starting bid of just 0.01p and NO RESERVE! This has been a greta little boat for me and the family over the past few years and are excellent for taking the family out for day tips to peaceful spots for beach picnic's and BBQ's or from swimming from and sight seeing along coastal or inland waterways. Highly sought after cathedral hull design which provides an extremely stable base perfect for fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding or just general fun out on the water during a nice sunny day. Extremely fast and able to hit the plane with relatively little throttle especially with the planing wings attached to the base of the outboard which improve efficiency.

These are extremely reliable boats with their unsinkable design and have been the choice of many from fishing enthusiasts and family day cruisers right through to boatyard workhorses for many years and there is a definite reason for their popularity. Hull These boats are famous for their unsinkable foam filled cathedral fibreglass hull design which makes them extremely safe and stable and certified to carry up to 7 adults or a combined weight of 612kg. The boat has it's original yellow gel coat with a polished finish, it has the usual age related marks but no major damage or serious marks, just the odd scratch here or there, it would look fabulous with a cream sprayed top coat and polish. She has never been anti fouled as has never been kept in the water or moored afloat but always stored on a trailer under a cover on our drive. The boat is structurally solid , cosmetically its ok.

Its a very stable design and will be very good on the water , both on the move and at standstill.The transom is very solid and very well made. High side rails making a safe fishing boat. Trailer The boat comes with a sturdy snipe break back roller coaster trailer on which it sits perfecty but has not been used for the past few years due to personal circumstances. It has been stored on the trailer built up on blocks so the wheels were not weight bearing during this time and underneath a fully weatherproof cover. Trailer bearings probably need to be looked at in the not too distant future but that is not a big job.

Engine Mercury 'Classic Fifty' 50 hp 2 stroke long shaft outboard with a cover and planing wings attached to the bottom of the shaft to aid performance and efficiency. Engine also includes electric trim and tilt and a full steering set up to a centre console. Engine has not been run for the past 2 years as the boat has not been used and kept in secure storage but I have just had a mechanic look at it and am assured that it just needs a good service and a new battery and it'll be good to go. Even if you take the boat without the engine or have your own you want to put on this package is still a great price and represents great value at what will probably be an unbeatable price. Performance Very stable, jumps straight up on plane and runs wide open at about 25-30knts depending on how much gear you have on-board.

The Dory’s make excellent fishing platforms due to their stable nature, and can go rather quickly with the right engine on the back. Condition The boat has the usual use and age related cosmetic wear with the odd scratch to the original gel coat but no holes or cracks. As you can see she is very tidy and has served me well fishing, waterskiing and just general good fun, perfect for towing waterskis or for trolling around gently for some bass. The boat has recently had new internal hull and topside marine anti-slip paint. Its not a new boat and has signs of use its a project that's almost complete.

The trailer alone is probably worth £500 but want to include everything in one go as need it all gone due to family commitments. This boat really is fantastic fun for both beginners getting into boating (with it's stable design and easy handling) or more experienced boat users who will still find the performance thrilling. These are classic boats, I am not sure of it's exact age as I inherited it from my father and it has been in our family for a fair few years. Be a great little easy project with some light tidying up for someone who has a little bit of time to enjoy the coming summer months out on the water. Reason For Sale The reason for sale is that it just genuinely does not get the use it deserves due to work commitments and starting a new family.

I have held onto it with the dream of using her more and fought off the pressure of friends and family members but now finally comes the time to let her go to an owner who will appreciate her and make best use of her. Accessories She comes with loads of kit, everything you need to get out on the water making the most of her;Anchor, fishing Rod Holders, chain, engine cover, fenders, rope, cleats, mooring lines, compass, fuel tank, non slip deck paint, stainless steel grab rails (side and front) and frame. The boat has been securely stored and has been kept completely dry.
