Character boats 'Post Boat' Sailing Dinghy Boat 14'6" Gaff Rig, Day sailer, Classic style fibre glass hull with lovely mahogany trim, comes with a road trailer and all the rigging to get you going. The 'Post boat' originated from the Loch's in Scotland and this one is a very rare example with a 'cuddy' to provide a bit of shelter if needed.It is very versatile, being suitable for sailng, rowing or motoring with an outboard for fishing or just a nice day out relaxing on the water.The Gaff rig and twin jibs make it a very sailable boat and surprisingly stable but nippy when on the water. It sails like a dream and when the wind drops you can carry an outboard in the storage compartmet to get get you home.It also has the facilty to row it with oars which are included.The mast and boom fold down to make transportation and storage on the trailer easy, it will fit in a garage if need be and it tows easily behind a car or van.All the rigging and ropes have been replaced so there is nothing to worry about there. The trailer has had new wheel bearings and the tyres have been replaced. The paintwork and varnish is excellent and the interior is clean and tidy.Bronze fittings are throughout the boat, as are classic tufnol blocks and tackle.This really is a lovelly classic boat and just begging to be used more than we can give it justice.
