Drascombe Longboat

A very special Drascombe Longboat (1982). Navy blue hull, white boot top, black antifoul, white decks. Originally for Sailability so aluminium masts, extra buoyancy & incredibly safe. Bowsprit, sternsprit, main, mizzen, jib, flying jib and spinnaker (!) so also fast (for a Drascombe). Mariner 5 hp 4-stroke serviced annually, remote fuel tank.

Anchor, oars, fenders, mooring warps, spinnaker pole, boat hook, bilge pump, cockpit cover. New lifting keel in 2015, flip-up stainless rudder. Tent and cooker also available. De Graaf swing-beam trailer. Well-sailed, well-loved, well-looked after.

Designed for Devon waters with a shallow draught- so goes in all inlets along estuary…but also sails along coast beautifully. Longboats are rarely for sale, bigger than the Lugger and much better for sailing. Freshly painted, varnished, antifouled and engine serviced so ready for the water.
