Drascombe Longboat Cruiser - Hull 673 - Fully Refurbished

Hull 673 - approximate year 1979 per manufacturer. One of the very last of this series before it was discontinued in favour of the heavier/more complicated Coaster. Full 2017 refurb. Truly brilliant family boat for its size - we have sailed her with our four small children and felt extremely reassured by her handling at sea. Sails - new mizzen (unused), new mainsail (used twice), jib used for one season only (excellent shape but would benefit from a new UV strip where the sun has bleached it). Spare mizzen (good shape, but older orange colour) and main (pretty rough, to be honest!). Tohatsu 6hp outboard with lock. Excellent condition and hardly used. Serviced by Rib Shop, Swanwick (Tohatsu dealers) - May 2017.

Will come with various spares, fenders, warps etc. Large anchor, plenty of chain and warp. Even has a set of oars. Cockpit cover needs a clean but does its job regardless! Good condition break-back Snipe trailer.

Rated 500kg (correct for boat) but strangely had brakes at one time (now disconnected). Given 500kg rating on its plate, it remains road legal as is not required to have brakes. For its age, I doubt you'd find another one as good unless it had been refurbed by Churchhouse Boats themselves. Very reluctant sale as we had hoped to have many years of fun with her, but a new and unexpected project has just come up. Viewings welcome.
