Zingara is an unsinkable Etap 26 designed by Van De Stadt and built in 1982. Generally she is in good condition. Over my 5 years of ownership I have spent many hours upgrading and improving her so the new owner will be able to sail away without any issues (I have now antifouled her which you might be able to see in the last photos). The reconditioned Wallas heater and Etap foam insulation between the inner moulding and outer hull make her a warm and quiet boat, able to be used throughout the year. Her lifting keel makes her ideal for exploring rivers and estuaries.
But she is more than capable of coastal passages too, even crossing the channel if desired. I’m sorry to see her go but unfortunately the family haven’t taken to sailing and so she is up for sale. Currently she is ashore near Plymouth. A swinging mooring on the Tamar River and an inflatable dinghy with Johnson 2hp, 2-stroke outboard are available by separate negotiation if required.
