For sale is my husband's ex RNLI Class D lifeboat. Due to my poor health and other commitments he has not been able to get out on the water for the last year so it is with a heavy heart we are parting with it.The floor has been recently varnished with Le Tonkinis marine varnish and so is in very good condition, we have had a protective closed cell rubberized flooring over it to protect it as my husband used to use it as a dive boat. Those of you who know anything about these will know that it is a very safe and stable boat and an ideal platform for diving or visiting beaches or just simply being out on the water. It has an ex rnli 40hp Mariner engine. 2004. We have a video of it running if you would like to see it at https://youtu.be/xo9Gt0YpYWw. We think it needs a good service as it seems to choke itself out. Purchased last year from Bill Higham in Manchester, lovely engine with with loads of pull the prop being designed to pull boats in need of rescue.
The engine has the original rnli tool kit and carb drain in case of inversion with full instructions on the the engine cover. The tubes hold air well and have no patches. It comes with the trailer and spare wheel attached. The avon fuel bags are also included as well as the oars on the sides on the boat.It has a new fuel filter/water separator. There is loads of storage on this boat and great for fishing diving etc, tubes are twin core in the event of puncture.Comes with the light board on the trailer so all you need are some straps to go over the boat and you are ready to tow her away! Not included in the sale is the Garmin GPS, fishfinder and radio but this can be agreed at a separate price if wanted.D318 Moderler which served as inshore life boat at Barrow on Furness, full history available from the RNLI including lives saved. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.Cash on collection preferred although we will accept Paypal on collection if the buyer covers the fees.
