Thanks for looking at my auction. I am helping a friend out as he hasn't got the time to manage the sale of his boat. The boat is located at Farndon Marina and is also up for sale there too. The marina knows that the boat is listed on classifieds board. Dave has owned Dacarak for approx 10yrs and has used it both on the Trent and on the sea.

She is very stable and has a cruising speed of approx 18 knots and max of approx 23 knots. You can board Dacarak from either side or over the back from the swim platform into the cockpit. There is a full width bench seat. There's also seating on both port and stb side with lockers. The engines are under the deck.

The steps up to the fly bridge are on the stb side and has a hatch to keep the water out and seating and helm covers. There is seating for approx. 4 adults. You have sliding doors in to the main area. This is a large space.

There is seating on both sides with stowage beneath. Dacarak is very light because of the large windows some open too. You can steer the boat from the fly bridge or the lower helm. The lower helm is port side. You then step down in to the galley and dinette area.

The galley is port side and equipped with Plastimo Atlantic hob, oven and grill, Fridge, Microwave, twin stainless steel sink with mixer tap. (Hot water via calorifier/ immersion). Ample storage and work surface. The large dinette is opposite the galley and it converts to a double berth and has storage beneath. Next to the galley is the shower/toilet compartment which is fitted with manual sea toilet, hand basin with hot and cold water, shower, shaver point, cupboard and opening port hole.

This leads on to the Fwd master cabin. This is fitted with the offset double bed with storage beneath, wardrobe, vanity unit, overhead lighting and opening port holes. Because Dacarak is used on the River Trent, Dave has had the radar arch adapted to allow it to fold backwards so it can get through the lower bridges. Bad points.Dacarak is a 28 yr old boat. I would say she is in average condition showing signs of wear on the upholstery.

The woodwork is sound, but a needs cleaning up. Dacarak is fitted with 2x 200hp Volvo AD41 diesel engines. They are smokey when started up. However, if you look online, they are well know for being a smokey engine.The stern drives are about due a service from what I have been told and the shift cables could do with being changed. These are cheep enough to do.

Dacarak if also fitted with Eberspacher heating however, this currently isn't working. It is suspected that it needs a service. I am being as honest as I can be about Dave's boat. She is a lovely looking boat and does go well and handle well. She could benefit from some sea work to help work these engines harder.

Dave is listing the boat to start at £28,000.00. This is a lot of boat for this money. She could even make a great live aboard for a single person or a couple.Dacarak doesn't have a mooring at the marina. It is currently on the sales berth. If you bought the boat, you would need to speak to the marina regarding availability of a berth.

You are responsible for the mooring/storage fees as soon as the boat is paid for. Payment and collection/mooring to be completed within 7 days of the end of the auction please.
