MK1 twin engine Fairline Fury in Whitby We purchased this boat about 5 years ago with the intention of swapping the petrol's out for for diesels but the simple fact is we never got round to it due to its location. Located in Whitby with electric hookup, views of the abbey, river esk and steam railway and the fact that we could park right in front of the boat, we simply didn't move it and used it for weekends away. Having a boat in Whitby has led to buying a property there and even though storage is less than £150 a month we have now made the reluctant decision to sell her. These boats truly are like a Tardis, even at 25 foot long you get 4 berths with a bathroom and a fantastic seating area along the stern. This boat can even be pulled on a trailer providing your vehicle can pull up to 3.5 ton.
(There is no trailer included by the way) 2x Volvo Penta Petrol engines on Volvo Penta stern drives, the fuel tank was corroded so we removed it. The engines did run but haven't been started for 2 years so no doubt will need some attention. The transit 2.5 engine and Peugeot 306 1.9 diesels will fit this boat and allow planing speeds to be achieved. Conversion kits and adaptor plates are available from Lancing marine should you want to do this.https://www.lancingmarine.com/ This video is a MK1 fury with 2 transit engines in.https://www.youtube.com/watch? V=Z3rW5H1HqpY&index=12&t=0s&list=LLnmgZGsCDMc29ihwk89POrA Hull is sound and watertight but would benefit from a day spent cleaning it. Yard fees are payed monthly and i will include whatever is left if any for the new owner.
You will then be able to take over the fee's should you want her to remain where she is. Lifting facilities are available should you want to put her on a trailer. I've tried to think of everything but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Bank transfer preferred.
