Re‐engined around 2005 or later she was bought by the present owner in July 2010.A full survey from this date is available and most of the recommendations have been implemented.

She has been ashore in Crinan Boatyard every winter since and her engine and rigging maintained professionally. Work carried out since 2010 includes: • Installation of an electric anchor windlass with remote operation from the cockpit as well as the foredeck. The anchor is a 15kg Rocnor on 40m of 8mm galvanized chain. A spare anchor and chain is carried. A new Raymarine A50A chart plotter with hand‐held remote control linked to an S1000+ autohelm was fitted.

In 2011 the existing boom and mainsail was replaced with a “sailtainer” fully battened mainsail and in‐boom reefing system which is operated from the cockpit. • The foresail/genoa is roller reefed and a spinaker and boom is also carried. There are three new Lewmar self‐tailing winches. • A new spray hood was fitted by Owen Sails, Oban, in 2012. Accommodation consists of a double berth in the main cabin, a small single berth under the chart table and twin ‘V’ berths forward.

There is a sea toilet and shower (the shower is not connected) and a gas cooker and oven in the galley. The 20hp twin cylinder Yanmar diesel has been regularly serviced by Crinan Boatyard Ltd. There is a large stainless steel fuel tank. Minona is set up for single handed sailing. She is an attractive boat in good condition for her age.

A new owner might consider cleaning the brown varnish off the decorative teak along the gunwales and capping. This has already been done successfully on the rubbing strakes. The standing rigging may need replacing at some point in the future as will the deck anti‐slip matting. A rubber dinghy and 2.2hp Tohatsu outboard are available by separate negotiation.
