These boats were manufactured by West Marine Ltd at Peel in the Isle of Mann. West Marine were a subsidiary of Peel engineering who were famous for the Peel Microcar. The hull has 2 bilge keels, which are parallel to each other and also allow the boat to sit level, excellent for tidal marinas/harbours.

Volvo Penta 2002 2 cylinder 18hp inboard diesel raw water cooled engine coupled to a Volvo Penta water cooled MS2B gearbox 2.37:1 ratio giving a top speed of apprx 7-8 knots. Both gearbox and flywheel have excellent splines New Sea Cock and strainer filter Engine gas been rebuilt with new piston rings and valves re-seated, fully serviced with new oil & fuel filters and fresh oil. Gearbox has fresh oil also New R&D flexible coupling and new R&D prop coupling. New rear engine mounts. Volvo Penta control panel/rev counter with keyed ignition start Twin batteries in parallel, and new electrics throughout including navigation, stern and anchor lights.

Electric bilge pump with both automatic and manual operation. Also fitted is a gusher type hand pump. New window rubbers to all windows. Boat has recently been fully prepared and re-painted to a good standard and in good original condition All fittings are new Stainless Steel with all new nuts and bolts also are stainless steel. Included is an unbraked road trailer with new suspension units, wheels and tyres.

The hubs are braked hubs, although the brakes are not connected at present, although this could be done by new owner . Generally this is a good solid boat and is ideal for inland and coastal areas. The boat is currently out of the water at Blyth in Northumberland.
