Fletcher 149 Speedboat Project

Up for auction is a Fletcher 149 Speedboat, Mercury Outboard and Snipe Trailer. PLEASE READ THE FULL LISTING! The Speedboat is solid with no leaks, the GRP body is in good condition. The interior is rough, the wooden floor needs to be replaced, but the stringers are in good order and solid. The material from the two seats in the boat have been stripped as they were both rotten, The GRP bases are however in good order and just need to be recovered.

The outboard motor is a 45HP Mercury engine. It has not been heard running, so is therefore being sold together with the boat as a NON RUNNER. The Snipe trailer is in good condition as it is galvanised, it requires two new brace bars as they have rotted out, It will also need decent road wheels and tyres before being towed away or bring a flatbed truck to take it all. This was a project to be restored over the winter months, but time has run out. The whole package has been listed at a very reasonable starting bid, it is worth more but needs to be moved.

The trailer alone is worth the asking price! A great winter project. Cash on collection, please bring some ratchet straps, two decent trailer road wheels with tyres if you win. Please be aware, this is a non running project which needs a considerable amount of work!! It is not a mint condition boat & trailer otherwise it wouldn't be £300!!
