1987 16ft Fletcher Arrowstreak Bravo (161) For sale is our much loved Fletcher Arrowstreak. This is the Bravo model & is fitted with a Mariner 135hp outboard. The boat was purchased by my Father & Grandfather brand new back in 1987 and has been dry stored for most of its life. The Bravo model comes with the extra instrument gauges, boarding ladder & navigation lights. This boat has also been fitted with a Ski-pole.
As you can see from the photos the boat is in excellent original condition and still has the original trim & seats. The Mariner outboard was fitted from brand new and is still in excellent condition. There is a large aluminium fuel tank at the bow of the boat. The boat starts, runs & drives fantastically and is great fun to use, as well as being easy to handle and launch. It comes on the original Hallmark roller trailer which has been upgraded with sealed bearings.
The trailer is in great condition & the lighting board will be included with the sale. Last year I gave the boat a overhaul and carried out a lot of maintenance work including the following: Replaced fuel filler neck hose Replaced fuel pipe from tank to engineFitted primer ball under dash board Fitted water trap filter in the rear Replaced all engine fuel hoses Rebuilt all 3 carbs with new needles & gaskets Replaced both engine CDI packsReplaced spark plugs Replaced stator ring (under flywheel)Replaced voltage regulator Replaced voltage rectifier Replaced/rebuilt fuel pumpReplaced impeller Carried out gearbox oil change Removed oil injection & blanked. (Now runs on pre-mix)Replaced fuel filterReplaced both thermostats Removed, cleaned & refitted fuel tank As you can see I have replaced everything that could potentially cause a problem & made this boat good to last another 30 years. The engine runs perfectly and I have plenty of videos of the engine running & of the boat on the water. Included with the sale will be a nearly brand new ‘Boatworld’ cover to keep the boat in its best condition & the original engine, trailer & boat user manuals as well as all of the receipts from the above work.
