Fletcher Sportscruiser 19 Gto

2002 Fletcher 19 GTO with trailer. A lot of work has been carried out to this boat in the last 12 months: Some gelcoat repairs to a small section of the port superstructure where she'd clearly had a bump of some description were carried out by a skilled shipwright, the hull above the waterline was machine polished, and a vinyl wrap was applied over the blue section of gelcoat, all at considerable cost with receipts to prove. When purchased by me, she did not have a VHF radio. Accordingly, a new ICOM 330 VHF unit was purchased and professionally installed. The existing sonar/chartplotter unit was removed and replaced by a new Humminbird Helix 7 G4N unit.
Again, this was professionally installed. The cockpit trim was freshened up. Depending on its condition, it was either renewed or sprayed with flexible vinyl paint. A new fire extinguisher has also been fitted this year. The canopy needed a repair to a small section, which was again carried out professionally.
A tonneau cover is also included. She looks good for a 20 year old boat but, as you would expect, isn't free of marks and blemishes. Also, the two curved front/side windows are scratched (as shown in the photos) – a common issue with these windows – and would benefit from being replaced. That's a job for the winter, and one that I'd have tackled were I to keep the boat. The engine is a 225hp Yamaha Saltwater Series 2 outboard.
Although it's an older engine and the hood is a a bit tatty, it's believed to have under 400 hours on the clock. It's been given a 100 hour service this year as well as a new trim motor (the original, which works but is a little cruddy, will also come with the boat). Moreover, the engineer who serviced the engine reported good compression on all six cylinders (150 PSI plus or minus 5). Again, I have documentation to prove this. The trailer (pictured) is believed to be the one that was originally supplied with the boat.
A lot of work was carried out to it last year – new brakes, bearings, drawbar, jockey wheel, and wheel arches. It has been used to launch the boat twice since that work was done, both times in the last few weeks. I'm selling her because I'm struggling to get along with her engine - I don't need such a big, heavy and powerful motor. She's currently berthed at a marina, so a sea trial (depending on weather) is possible for anyone genuinely interested in buying her.
