Folkboat - Clinker Built Mahogany On Sawn Oak Frames

A great Summer project for somebody with basic shipwrighting skills. A clinker-built, mahogany on sawn oak frames Folkboat, now lying in my yard in North Dorset, having been sailed regularly from Portland Marina up until November 2016. She's in pretty good nick for her age but in need of some TLC. She needs a new mast, sails and rig and repairs to her rudder. She was professionally fitted with a recon Volvo 2000 single cylinder diesel engine, new shaft and prop in 2014.

The engine has proved reliable and starts on the button and comes with two heavy duty 12v batteries and switching gear. Instrumentation includes magnetic compass, echo sounder and speed log. VHF radio included. She's fitted with two bilge pumps - one automatic float-operated, and a second, more powerful electric pump, which I have never had to use! I can arrange hire of a Telehandler to lift her - £100 approximately.
