Frolic 21 electric dayboat, classic lines, launch, good condition, quality covers, GRP “Lady Nisage” - Traditional electric Frolic 21, GRP with navy blue hull, red antifoul, white boot topping, cream GRP topside/roof and inlaid varnished mahogany decks in good condition. Length 21’ x 5’9” wide. Built in 1990 by the Steam Electric Launch Company, it has a full length GRP roof (which keeps the sun and rain off) with cut-outs for easy on-off access (note: some Frolics have a cheaper half length roof and some have a canvas roof). The helm is at the front and it is powered by a Nelco 1.4kw motor with Curtis controllers x 16 batteries providing ample speed and recharged by shoreline to a RD60 onboard charger. The navy blue/transparent side curtains that have zips and roll up (x4) and the front/back curtains (often removed when you use the boat) were renewed just 3 years ago and a purpose made all over-cover (from end to end protecting the decks), is also just a few years old, ensures the entire boat is protected from the weather and helps keep it clean.

In the summer, the side curtains are permanently rolled up and we just use the full length cover for protection, meaning it is ready to go in minutes. The current BSS expires in May 2020. Inside is varnished trim on cream GRP, a perfect condition varnished mahogany table with folding side leaves, blue carpet and off-white seat cushions with blue trim. It comes with 2 fire extinguishers, navigation lights, horn, fenders, ropes, electric bilge pump (but never needed as the bilge is dry), 2 x 12v power points, a CD player with a 3.5mm input for your iPod/phone connector which powers 2 speakers forward and 2 aft. With plenty of storage for belongings/food/drink etc this is a perfect boat for enjoying lazy sunny warm days, exploring the river accompanied by a picnic, relaxing music and a few glasses of fizz served from an ice bucket.
