WOW now here is something you wont find every day its an American Navy Seal Military Rescue Craft , Its called a G.A.R.C. Which stands for Greenough Advanced Rescue Craft. Its basically a big Jetski designed to take 4 Navy Seals at speeds up to 50mph in water as shallow as 1 foot deep to carry out rescues or other missions. Its powered by a Weber 150bhp 4 stroke turbocharged and intercooled engine and a Weber jetdrive unit She was Manufactured in 2012 and has only done 38 hours and cost the company in England who purchased it £51000 in late 2012It was purchased from the USA and was demonstrated to the UK Navy but at a cost of over £60000 asking price the UK Govt could not afford them and so the craft became available for sale. All engine and jet pump parts are readily available from Weber in the USA.Its has a very high spec and has been designed to be air dropped from American C130 aircraft.

The hull was originally designed by a guy called George Greenough a Californian who moved to Australia and was a world class surfer he also was a commercial fisherman, he was fed up coming back in at night through the surf off the coast of Australia and being tossed about in normal boats so he designed the first GARC around 30 yrs ago , it was designed to be able to take a broadside wave without overturning or risk of sinking etc,In fact his first GARC was donated to the Australian Coastguard is still being used today some 30 years later! The hull is a Composite with a high spec/cost Kevlar layer for extra strength and is rated for military air drops. GARCS can be ordered to your own personal spec and this one is fully loaded with equipment as follows WEBER 150 bhp 2cyl 4 stroke turbocharged and intercooled engine Engine has closed loop cooling system with antifreeze etc Weber Jet pump drive Kevlar composite high strength, high stability hull navigation lights 12v and 24v on board electrics with 3 x 12v batteries rubberised search light fire extinguisher first aid kit external plug in battery maintainance system manual and automatic bilge pump Digital Yacht Raymarine Series C chart plotter with AIS.
