Halmatic 30 Sailing Yacht, With Brand New Sails, Minor Work To Finish Refit

HALMATIC 30 for sale. With brand new suit of sails (£4200 worth) Comes with: Hull, in very good condition, new epoxy below waterline, keel blasted and treated, only minor cosmetic work required. Brand new Hyde main sail, Challenge Marblehead cloth, never used, very deep 3rd reef. Brand new Elvstrom Genoa, hanked reefing, heavy weight cloth, never used. Brand new North Storm jib, never used but a couple of years old.

Brand new custom 5083 marine grade aluminium fuel tank. Sheldon mast and standing rigging, original mast in very good condition, standing rigging is in very good condition (no proof of age) Two anchors and 75m of 8mm cal chain (chain almost new) Teak faced marine and unfaced ply, more than enough wood to finish the project (£1000 worth of ply & teak timber) Suzimar 265 dinghy and Suzuki 2.5hp out board. Both in exceptional condition with neither having been used more than a handful of times. Raymarine Autopilot. Work done: New best quality headlining throughout the saloon, forward is in excellent condition so not replaced.

All 4 Windows have new Perspex professional bonded in the frames with sika 295uv Galley rebuilt using the finest material and to a very high standard. New Origo two burner stove. Saloon varnish stripped and refinished in teak oil. Toe rail stripped, refinished and re bedded using sika 292i all round. All original screw holes properly filled and re-drilled.

Pulpit re-wired and re-beaded. Anchor winch stripped, serviced and replaced on new teak base. New custom fuel tank made. Drying out leg sockets removed and made good with 22 layers of csm, work done to the highest professional standard. Work still required: Starboard side saloon bunk has been modified and needs some finishing (see pics) all of the wood required is included.

Bladder water tank need purchasing and fitting. Reupholster saloon, forepeak is in very good condition. Fit last headlining board at the companion way (board made and covered, just needs fitting) Companion way teak needs some minor work. Some teak trim needs re-fitting (all supplied, just needs putting back up) Fuel tank needs plumbing in. Starboard toe rail needs screw plugs trimming down.

Engine runs we'll but might want the exhaust looking at. Hull gelcoat needs re-finishing where the leg sockets were removed. Probably some stuff I've forgotten, but nothing major. Otherwise normal maintainance such as cockpit locker lids could do with a coat of paint etc. Due to a sudden illness our dream has had to change.

As a result we have decided to practically give the boat away. We would rather someone benefit from our hard work and expense than spend time trying to get full market value and not being able to keep her lovely as she is now. She does need some work to finish, I would estimate a capable and energetic person would have to commit 2 weeks hard work and she would be ready to go sailing again, maybe a few more weekends to get her tip top. Normally you would need to pay £15k to £20k for a ready to go Halmatic. I think this boat has a true market value of £8500 to £10000. She is in epoxy and has BRAND NEW SUIT OF SAILS, that we commissioned and paid £4200 for two months ago. Full proof of title available, Inc all change of ownership history. The boat yard is clear of dues and fees, and we have even arraigned that the new buyer will get a free lift on to a road trailer or free launch.
