Hardy 25 Motor Boat Project

Hardy 25 Cabin cruiser motor boat. Built in 1984 this Hardy 25 motor boat comes with A Volvo Penta D3-160 Diesel and SX out drive. With A additional spare Volvo penta D3-130 engine. This is a Nice Hardy 25 project which comes with many of the new parts needed to help get her back on the water. The hull is in good condition, the gel coat is bright with no major damage, a few minor scratches but nothings of note.
She comes with a brand new, Original Hardy fender rope to go around the outside. The coach house is in very good condition and the deck is solid with no soft areas. A new Lewmar style Perspex hatch has been fitted in the coach house roof, requires bedding on sealant and bolting down to finish. The aft canopy is very good quality and still in great condition. Originally from a merry fisher but fits this boat well.
The bottom/under water has been pressure washed back and is ready for fresh antifoul. A new tin of black international cruiser 250 comes with the boat. The cabin and cockpit are clean and tidy and require a simple cosmetic work. The wood work in the cabin is in mostly good condition, though would benefit from refreshing the varnish and a few small wood repairs. The wheel house requires new head liner panels, the old panels are provided and can be used as templates/or refused.
The cushions are very clean and are in great condition and have been stored at home away from any damp. It will need new carpet/flooring in the cabin. No leaks in the cabin or coach house, the windows are water tight. Engine/mechanical. The boat comes with 2 Volvo penta D3 engines.1x Volvo penta D3-160 excellent mechanical condition, currently out of the boat on a pallet but can be show running. 1x spare Volvo penta D3-130 turns over and kicks but won’t run.
Electrical fault diagnosed by Volvo penta mechanics, also on a pallet. The 130 has a lot of new parts, which were purchased in the hope of getting it running. It has A new altinator, new Cambell kit, new starter motor and fuel filter housing with primer pump. These can all be swapped over to the 160. -new turbo and fuel pump to fit either engine included in the sale.
-Volvo penta SX out drive to hitch has been stripped, epoxy primed and painted. New bellow kit and all spares to put the out drive back together including new anodes. The out drive will need a new UJ assembly and gimble bearing as these were beyond saving. -bow thruster in good working order. -2x new 140AH batteries.
The boat is a easy project with all the major expenses already paid for. Unfortunately work commitments and other projects are taking priority for me, other wise this boat would have made a fantastic family cruiser. The boat is semi displacement and cursed at 15knts with a max speed of 18knts with the D3-130. With the D3-160 fitted it should cruse at 18knts. The boat dosnt have a trailer and will need transportation from Lymington, Hampshire.
