HARDY PILOT 20'This is not a new boat, but considering it's age it is in AMAZING condition.I bought the boat last year during lockdown from a retired Aircraft Engineer/Pilot.He had nut and bolt restored it, and I mean every bolt was renewed with stainless, it was re-carpeted, and deck fittings that are normally wood on these were made in stainless. It was immaculate. FIXED VHF RADIO RAYMARINE DEPTH SOUNDER RAYMARINE DRAGONFLY 4 SONAR/MAPS/FISH FINDER/CHARTPLOTTER - has got us safely to all of the harbours around without hitting anything, far more reliable than the old unit I had, the GPS is very reliable. MARINER 60 OUTBOARD (NEW IN 2019 WITH ALL CONTROLS NEW) 'BIG FOOT' GEARBOX (RECEIPT FOR +-£10K ENGINE AND FITTING) ENGINE SERVICED TWICE SINCE THEN, MOST RECENTLY BY BEMBRIDGE MARINE IN MARCH 21 NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER FOUND AND SERVICE NOT REQUIRED WAS MORE OF A COURTESY/PREVENTATIVE SERVICE. BOAT WAS OUT OF THE WATER IN MARCH AND HULL WAS PRESSURE WASHED, IT DID NOT REQUIRE ANTIFOWL HULL WAS MACHINE POLISHED AND PAINTED IN 2019 NEW COVERS LATE 2019 CUSHIONS ALL NEW IN 2019 AND UNDAMAGED BLUE VINYL I'M IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING THE COVER BUNGEES BOAT HAS HAD AN EXTERNAL CLEAN THIS WEEK COVERS WERE CLEANED AND TREATED THIS WEEK.ANCHOR AND SOME CHAIN / ROPE 20m APPROX TOTAL WINDSCREEN WIPER PORT AND STARBOARD LIGHTS SPOT LIGHT GAS HOB (TWO RING) SINK THAT DRAINS TO SEA BASIC 'TAP' FROM STORED WATER TOILET 'CUBICLE' AND OLD PORTAPOTTI OLD BUT FUNCTIONAL FRESH FIRE EXTINGUISHER THIS YEAR (DECENT SIZE) 2 x 25 LITRE PETROL TANKS (YOU CAN PUT THEM IN YOUR CAR AND FILL AT GARAGE ) LOCATED ON ISLE OF WIGHT NO TRAILER This was our second boat, and it was much better than the RIB, as we could enjoy days out on it , and did a lot last year in the Solent, it's taken us to many of the Solent harbours. Whilst admittedly my kids are smaller (2@ under 9), it is quite possible to sleep 2 adults and two children in the large bed area side by side. And you 'could' sleep one additional person across the back seating area if they like 'camping' as the back is obviously more like a tent than a cabin. The Hardy 20 is ready to go, comes with fenders and warps, it's comfortable in sea or harbour, and would be comfortable in fresh water also. We are located on the Isle of Wight, if you need help 'sailing it ' somewhere on the island and don't feel comfortable I can help weather and tide permitting.Likewise for Portsmouth, Gosport, Lymington, Chichester AFTER full payment received. (I collected from Chichester and 'sailed' it to Yarmouth the first day I got it. Alternatively you could get a quote for shipping. Depending on load, it isn't the fastest thing on the sea, but with two adults and to children , it would achieve 12Knots 'max' and a 8 knots is a fairly realistic cruise. Well, my wife finds it difficult to berth in our finger pontoon, it's taken the fun out of it , and there's no point it not being used. If anyone wonders what is dangling out the back starboard side, it's just waste hose, there is not a bilge bump neatly fitted, so I added an auto bilge just to keep it dryer during the winter!
