This boat is ideal for living aboard, crash pad in the city, fishing trips on a lake/loch/river and would be a great holiday home for cruising on canals or rivers or lochs / lakes. The boat can sleep 6 people with a spacious light airy feel to her. The rear cabin can accommodate a double mattress with lots of cupboard space for storing of clothes / items. The forward cabin is a v cabin that has lots of storage space plus a full length wardrobe. The lounge area also converts into a double bed.
The galley contains a full size gas cooker. There is also a fridge. The bathroom consists of a pump out toilet, sink and shower area with a large shower head. The hull is Aquafibre fibreglass and the engine is a Thorny Croft which is quiet when running (you can hardly hear the engine from outside). Comes with a full boat cover worth approximately £6000.This boat is like a tardis and very roomy.
Lovely to sail and very easy to handle. Apparently rumour has it that Edward Woodward used to own this boat (no evidence though). As with every boat, there is a little bit of work to do e.g. The teak decking needs sanding down and re varnishing / treating. I have been quoted that to sand and treat the deck is likely to cost approximately £600.
This boat is from 1970 and is tidy but with any new home, you want to make it your own with decor and styling inside. There is a new bilge pump and brand new CTEK M200 12 Volt Marine Battery Charger. The boat is currently moored in Scotland but due to only being 8 tonnes in weight is cheap to transport on the back of a lorry.Great boat that needs a new owner as due to personal circumstances owner can no longer hold on to her
