Hobie Adventure Island Tandem

I'm selling this with some regret as we've hadsuch a lot of fun with it, but we just aren't usingit enough to justify keeping it. It's a fabulouscraft which can be sailed in pretty much anyconditions as the sail reefs so easily and it is sostable. The Mirage drives work well and youcan get a surprisingly good turn of speed withboth people peddling. The boat is in good working condition and thesail sets nicely. When I bought it there was arepair in the rear mirage drive slot (pictured) Iused to worry about leaks (I fitted buoyancybags to fill the hull) but it has held up fine.
Ithas also got a scrape on the back of the portama which looks as if it makes a hole but itdoesn't leak. I have always stored it inside.The trailer is in good condition and includes apurpose built launching trolley meaning youcan keep the trailer bearings dry. The lightboard has a standard 7 pin plug. It also has afat tyred launch trolley you can take with youafloat. There are various accessories including ananchor, one kayak paddle (only ever used forreversing) hull plugs if you don't use the miragedrive and a box of spare bits and piecesincluding rudder pins and hull drain plugs.This is a hugely versatile boat suitable for shortsails or more extended tours.
Because it canbe sailed, peddled or paddled you can alwaysbe confident you will safely get to where youwant to go, and have a lot of fun on the way! It is advertised elsewhere so I may withdraw the auction if it sells.
