Hotspur - Leisure 23SL Cruising Yacht Twin Keel

In good overall condition ready to cruise and sail. Lots of fun and good times to be had. Twin keel family friendly starter boat. 5 berth - we recommend 3 adults or two adults +kids for best comfort and space. Fitted electric flushing toilet.

Sails in good serviceable condition. Main sail store on boat so excellent. Original Volvo Penta petrol Sail-drive 5hp hasn't missed a beat since we had her, had been reconditioned before we bought Hotspur. Auxilliary 6hp Honda longshaft outboard was bought new £1100 and has rarely been used but started and test run regularly. Rigging all in good order.

No fitted mains electric or gas but we safely use a camping style electric hook up for the electric kettle and heater when required and to top up the leisure batteries. Engine provides power output for engine bay fume extractor fan, saving leisure batteries for lighting and instruments. Camping Gaz cooker in custom made counter top unit will come with boat and hose to rear gas locker could be reinstated. Boat Safety Certificate require on Canal is valid until Autumn 2021. Hotspur currently at Dochgarroch East on Caledonian Canal, easy access to Loch Ness and beyond.

Berth is non transferable but in our experience Caledonian Canal are helpful, other marinas are available within easy cruising distance. Twin Leisure batteries are in good order. Lowrance navigation plotter and radio are linked and work well. Lots of extras including fenders, life jackets foam type + set of auto inflatables. Pots pans cutlery plastic plates, binoculars, handheld compass, inflatable dingy, tools, first aid kit, flares etc.etc.
