1960 Motorsailer "Thistle", a lovely Miller Fifer 33 is up for sale with a London mooring. Details of construction and history below. Mooring fees are roughly £500 per month and includes access to marina facilities. Location is ten minutes to Surrey Quays station and fifteen minutes walk to the Canada Water underground. Many parks, open spaces, cafes and pubs nearby.

Miller Fifer 33 is a very popular yacht largely based on the mid 20th Century Scottish Fishing Boats. A successful 60/40 motor-sailer, large living accommodation with solid mahogany interior, and enclosed wheelhouse. 'Thistle' has been well maintained over the years, still in commission but not sailed recently. She's a really lovely yacht, in decent shape and with a great feel. Construction is carvel Larch planking to the waterline, Mahogany topsides, all iron fastened to sawn oak frames.

Oak centreline and keel. Some planking replacement and re-caulking following 2014 survey. July 2018 lift out with additional caulking and antifouling. 60hp thornycroft engine,150 gallons fuel, 60 gallons water.
