Terrier' underwent a complete restoration in 2015, then entering service as the Lowestoft Water Taxi for around three years. The hull was completely re-planked with Iroko, all timbers replaced, new deck, new wheelhouse and she was fitted with a Hybrid Marine (Isle of Wight) propulsion system based around a Betamarine 50hp diesel with hybrid battery bank. Also included were new fuel tanks from Tek-Tanks, new stern gear, Vetus hydraulic steering, Victron multiplus 48v charging system, depth sounder, battery monitor, vhf radio, bilge pump and safety gear. Terrier is now looking for a new home, she does need some attention and would benefit from a coat of paint, the hybrid electric motor is currently not working and she may need new batteries for the hybrid drive, she can though be used just with diesel engine.
